Our History
ACR is a locally owned and operated engineering company based in Berkeley Vale NSW providing expertise in the quarry and mining industry throughout NSW and interstate.
ACR commenced operations in 1989 trading through to 2006 when the business was sold, in February 2015 ACR re-enter the market and continues to provide quality services to the industry.
ACR considers achieving the highest standard of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) performance as a primary organizational objective. We place strong emphasis on providing a safe working environment, striving to achieve a zero incident work place by managing risk and developing and maintaining safe work practices.
Our success and reputation is built on our quality work and customer focus.
In April 2020 ACR expanded into QLD to be known as ACR North PTY LTD. With a workshop located in Beenleigh, we are well positioned to service the local quarry industry with Site Maintenance, Off Site Repair, Machine shop, Fabrication and Spare Parts.
Currently employing 65+ Personnel, ACR has more than 30 years’ experience in the quarry and mining industry. Tony Savia
Director
Tony joined ACR in 2000. He has 35 years’ business and commercial experience which includes owning, managing and operating businesses. Tony has worked as an operations manager of a business unit in a publically listed engineering company on the east coast of Australia. He has also been employed at a general manager/ company secretary level, through which he has gained a great deal of experience in business operations management and organisational safety systems management. He is a fellow of the institute of quarrying with a drive for people development through further education, whilst promoting safety, quality and environment awareness within the business.
Mark Perry
Director
Mark joined ACR in 2000 commencing as a workshop supervisor and after having worked in different roles being promoted to the position of operations manager. He became a director of ACR 2016 and is now the director of operations. He leads a team of some 30 staff in delivering quality services to our customers. Mark has gained over 10 years’ experience as the operations manager of the Berkeley Vale business whilst working for a public company in the quarrying and mining industry. He has accumulated over 20 years’ experience within our industry and continues to build Australian Crusher Repairs with great vision and passion for the industry promoting growth across a number of sectors.
